Where to get old and usable furniture at a giveaway price?

Thrift shops are one of the great places to find cheap furniture. You can get a sofa for as low as $20. Or a usable vintage chair for as low as $10.

Check out eBay. There are many sellers in eBay that offer used furniture at such great prices.

Garage sale. You neighbor could be planning a garage sale over the weekend. Pay them a visit. They could be selling that old family sofa that’s laying in their living room for decades.

Where to purchase fabric paints to refurbish that old sofa?

Check Handyman. They usually have oil based fabric paints that are perfect for upholstery.

Online Store. DIY paints being sold online are usually of good quality. What’s nice about buying online especially from trusted sellers is that you get free advice on which color or what type of paint to use.

Make the paint yourself. Google it out and you will be surprised by many tutorials that will tell you how to make the paint to use for your next project.
